Azealia Banks is one of those artists who's name is constantly in folk's mouths an this time, is no different.
Azealia Banks is on the cover of the latest cover of UK Magazine "Dazed and Confused" holding a blown up condom to her mouth as if she's puffing on a cigarette or a cigar. This particular issue has already been banned in several states and I can see why. It is a condom, it's against her lips and it gives off the wrong message. I think because she's so young (keep in mind, this femcee is only 20), people still want her to be a role model to young women and I'm sorry but that's not an image I would want either of my daughter's to see. It's just like the famous Lil Kim pose which Nicki Minaj later reinvented that blew minds everywhere. There is a certain image that is acceptable and there are certain images we'd rather not see. These are just some of the many on my personal list I'd rather go without.
What's your take on the cover?

Drake and Chris Brown Sued Over Nightclub Brawl
Remember when we told you about Drake and Chris Brown throwing bottles at Teyana Taylor's listening party? Well they both have been hit with a $15 million lawsuit from the owners of the nightclub.
Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., the company that owns WiP nightclub in NYC, claims in the suit that both stars “shared a grudge against the other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman.” (Rihanna)
EEL also claims in their suit — obtained by the New York Post — when Drake and Brown crossed paths, they “began to fight violently with each other.”
The suit goes on to say… “Each arrived with his own small army of bodyguards, ‘security’ personnel, employees, friends and other members of their entourage consisting of at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat.”
The suit also credits the crews of both Drake and Chris with ingenuity, claiming they “fashioned deadly weapons out of whatever materials they could find; including glasses, alcohol bottles and furniture.”
The say the power of a woman's vajayjay will make a man do crazy thangs and in this case, it's causing them to pay out of pocket.

New Artist: Austin Brown

Austin Brown is the youngest child and only son of Reebie Jackson who is part of the musical Jackson Family.
In 2004, Austin signed with Interscope Records and announced plans of releasing his new album in 2006, however, those plans backfired as no new album emerged. During this time, he began recording music with the likes of Rodney Jerkins and Walter Afanasieff. In 2009, he and Chester Aldridge co-founded the independent label, the Royal Factory where Brown also signed as an artist to help distribute his albums.
In 2010, Brown released a buzz single, "Target Practice", which was produced and co-written by Rodney Jerkins. In July 2011, he released his first single, "All I Need", from his upcoming album, Highway 85'. He premiered the track on an episode of Lopez Tonight the day after he released the single. Highway 85 currently doesn't have a release date. He has also released the popular single 'Menage a Trois'. The single was released on February 14, 2012 and the video of 'Menage a Trois' is available on Brown's Vevo page on YouTube.
On BET, Austin said that Jermaine Dupri has been instrumental in helping him with his career as both a mentor and management. They debuted his song 'Menage' as a New Video and you can definitely tell he's a Jackson. The video was in black and white but I was taken back by how much he resembled his Uncle Michael in both looks and sound. Below is Austin's video and I hope you all add this artist to your musical radar because I know I'm adding him to mine =)
Rest in Paradise: Ron Palillo aka TV's Horshack
The television show 'Welcome Back, Kotter' was popular in the mid to late 1970's. It starred actors, John Travolta, Gabe Kaplan, Lawrence Hilton Jacobs, Ron Palillo and Robert Hegyes. My mother used to watch the program and she in turn introduced me to it and I too fell in love with the show (and both John Travolta and Lawrence Hilton Jacobs :)) Which is why it hurts me to write this post..
At about 4 a.m. this morning, actor Ron Palillo suffered an apparent heart attack at his home and could not be revived. He was pronounced dead at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. He was 63 years old.
For those of you who aren't familiar with who Ron Palillo is, he played the character Arnold Horshack on the TV 'Welcome Back, Kotter' where one of his catchphrases was ""Oooh, oooh" as he'd throw his hand up in the air whenever a teacher asked a question.
Rest in Paradise, Ron Palillo, your memory will live on in the heart and minds of your fans. We love you

Momma Dee meets Sister Patterson
So I was going to initially blog about Love and Hip Hop Atlanta amongst other things today. But, I had to stop for a minute and talk about Lil Scappy's mother. I am not sure if the point of this show is to embarrass black people as some sort of ignorant, untamed, and uneducated race. How you tell your son the way too treat women is to play them. Every women that he is around she tries to get them out his life or call them "bitches" and so on. I am no
Saint but as a mother she should have some sort of respect for herself. Her outburst and ignorant advice does
Not do justice for a black woman such as herself. For years when women and black people have been oppressed and went through so many movements to better them selves; "civil rights & women suffrage." The way she continues to act on national television says a lot about her character and the person she is. I can not judge because I am not GOD, but when filming her she needs to conduct her self with more respect. The more I watch the shows she reminds me of Tiffany Pollard, "New York, from the show I love New York" Mother sister Patterson. Just rude, obnoxious and ignorant. The only different is Sis. Patterson knows how to spell. They look like sisters what do you guys think?

VH1 Pulls 'Ev and Ocho'
As if the Evelyn Lozado and Chad Johnson thing couldn't get any bigger, more shit has hit the fan!
Bad enough they haven't even been married a full 90 days and already Chad's been arrested on domestic violence charges. Once bonded out, Chad was cut from the Miami Dolphins football team and now, VH1 has pulled 'Ev and Ocho' from their line-up. Guess we won't be seeing that wedding after all huh.
The network released the following statement in regards to the show:

Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.
In my opinion, that's once less "reality" show.

Celebrity Child Bashing
As a parent, I know how defensive I am about my kids. Whether jokingly or not, I hate for someone to talk about my kids. If you know me, you know damn well, my kids are the button that will definitely get your ass cussed out in 2.5 seconds and I'm just a regular parent. So as a celebrity, just imagine how much restraint they must have when different folks start running off at the mouth about their children.
Granted, people have been talking about celebrity kids since Michael Jackson dangled baby Blanket over the balcony and even before then but that still doesn't make it right. When Beyonce was pregnant with Blue, everybody and their mama had an opinion on her pregnancy and even after Blue was here, the criticism ceased to stop.
The latest victim of celebrity child bashing, is Tia Mowry Hardict and her son, Cree. While I'm not sure what was exactly said about baby Cree, I do know that Tia fired back and voiced her say: “It’s disgusting that some focus on looks. I brought a beautiful child into this world.” -via Tia Mowry Hardict's Facebook page
Even though celebrities willingly put themselves in the limelight, on a virtual platform for the world to judge and critique them, that does not give ANYONE the right to talk about someone's else's child. Tia, you are not alone girl. Angelina Jolie has been criticized for letting her daughter Shiloh, dress like a little boy. Jada Pinkett Smith is ALWAYS criticized about allowing Willow to have "too much freedom." And we all know the nasty things people have said about Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy.

People, the next time you talk about celebrity's kid, don't get mad if for 5 minutes they forget their social status and they mop the floor with your ass. RC is warning you.
