Kelly Rowland to Star in BET Comedy Pilot

I am so excited to bring news to you guys that one of my favorite songstresses and fashionistas will be starring in BET's original comdey pilot "What Would Dylan Do" and her name, is Kelly Rowland!

The show will center on Dylan, a Los Angeles-based relationship blogger, who lives with her friends Cherise and Brooke. Cherise will be played by Gabrielle Dennis of “The Game” and Brooke, who is wealthy and recently divorced, will be played by Melanie Liburd of “Strike Back.”
When Dylan’s ex-fiance, Brandon Scott of “Grey’s Anatomy,” re-enters her life, she begins to question if she ended their relationship too soon.

I will DEFINITELY be tuning in. What about you guys?

New Artist: Austin Brown

Today is the day Brandy's video "Put It Down" featuring Chris Brown is supposed to debut on BET's 106th and Park but either I missed it or I didn't wait long enough because I have yet to see it. However, while watching 106th and Park, a new artist was introduced to us named Austin Brown. He is a part of the 106th and Park "Music Matters" campaign and his backstory is legendary.

Austin Brown is the youngest child and only son of Reebie Jackson who is part of the musical Jackson Family.

In 2004, Austin signed with Interscope Records and announced plans of releasing his new album in 2006, however, those plans backfired as no new album emerged. During this time, he began recording music with the likes of Rodney Jerkins and Walter Afanasieff. In 2009, he and Chester Aldridge co-founded the independent label, the Royal Factory where Brown also signed as an artist to help distribute his albums.

In 2010, Brown released a buzz single, "Target Practice", which was produced and co-written by Rodney Jerkins. In July 2011, he released his first single, "All I Need", from his upcoming album, Highway 85'. He premiered the track on an episode of Lopez Tonight the day after he released the single. Highway 85 currently doesn't have a release date. He has also released the popular single 'Menage a Trois'. The single was released on February 14, 2012 and the video of 'Menage a Trois' is available on Brown's Vevo page on YouTube.

On BET, Austin said that Jermaine Dupri has been instrumental in helping him with his career as both a mentor and management. They debuted his song 'Menage' as a New Video and you can definitely tell he's a Jackson. The video was in black and white but I was taken back by how much he resembled his Uncle Michael in both looks and sound. Pooch Hall WILL Be Returning to 'The Game'

Alright ladies, you can officially get your panties out of a bunch; Pooch Hall will be returning to BET's 'The Game' despite reports that surfaced earlier this year that said he and co-star Tia Mowry-Hardict would not be returning.
