Cory Booker for Senate

When Obama was campaigning to be reelected for his second term to be President of the United States of America; Cory Booker held rallies in support of Obama. Last year around this time give or take a few weeks the Barack Obama head quarters in Plainfield, New Jersey decided to have a community rally for Obama. Cory Booker & Bob Menedez were the high light for the rally. When Booker spoke at the rally some in the crowd yelled Booker for president in four years. Another yelled Booker for senator!
Booker responded let's take small steps maybe Governor next. Cory Booker is presently the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey, whose popularity has been in the rise. He is known by many residents , celebrities and elected officials. Within a few months Booker announced his choice to run for senate. I applaud his grace, dedication and motivation. Although I though governor would of been next, Senator is not a bad choice. Booker won the democratic title to be the front runner for New Jersey state senator. Many may not like Cory Booker or everything he stands for but we must respect how involved he has gotten young people to be involved in politics. In my opinion you do not have to vote neither for against but, the fact that the youth of today are interested in voting is amazing! Kudos to Mayor Booker!

Lil Snupe

I come to you guys with sadness. Addarren La'Keith Ross known by his rap name 'Lil Snupe', was shot and killed by Tony Holden on June 20th, 2013. Lil Snupe was from Jonesboro Louisiana and was signed to one of my favorite artists Meek Mills dream chaser label. Lil Snupe was known as a freestyle King with a flow and delivery that was not like any other. Snupe celebrated his last and final birthday on June 13th, 2013 where he turned 18 and lived for exactly a week. His untimely death touched me deeply because I am fan of his music. Although I can not identify with everything that he raps about, I can identify with the pain and the hunger that I hear in his music which I find to be amazing and powerful. Lil Snupe will be greatly missed by fans, family and friends. He may have not been an A list celebrity but he has touched the lives of many A list celebrities. For example P diddy, Currency, Meek Mill, Louie V Gutta, K'Smith DJ Khaled, Chief Keef, Ace hood, Rick Ross, Wale, ASAP Rocky, Chris Brown, Karen Civil and many others have tweeted respect and mourned his death. I can not imagine the feeling and the pain his mother and family endured throughout this process and time. I respect real music and real aritsts and will make sure his name lives on in some way.  Lil Snupe a protégé of Meek Mill, Mill said that Snupe reminded him of himself. More updates about Addarren Ross (Lil Snupe) to come with details surrounding his case. Snupes' mom stated on instagrams no RIPS just #longlivesnupe. 2013 Graduates

Graduation time is one of the best moments of someone's life. May 2013 & June 2013 many of you graduated from Middle School, High School, College, Grad School and many different technical schools. As a 2013 graduate myself I congratulate all of you. It has been a long haul through college and after four years I am done. Graduation time for college students is when you break out into the real world if you are not already out there. For High Schools students many of you are on your way to college and or trade school. You may feel as though you are an adult and finally on your own. But, pay attention to your freshman year and work hard. Work hard now so you can relax later. Make yourself proud by accomplishing the reason you are in college.

Ushers interview with Oprah

So Oprah had a sit down with Mr. Raymond on "The Next Chapter" talking about his custody battle, marriage with Tameka and his mom as his manager. Usher sugar coated and talked around each question barley answering it. Oprah had to keep asking the same question and rephrasing it to get a direct answer out of him. The whole picture he painted of how Tameka could not handle his lifestyle and that he should of listened to people when they told him not marry her. Hmm I was always told never regret something that once made you happy. Now don't get me wrong people change but there is a right and wrong way too handle things. A messy custody battle is never good for the kids l; children know both parents of they are around and in sane mind. My heart really goes out to Tameka after just loosing a son and then a judge granting primary custody to your ex husband. I know the pain must be there. Although I do not know all the details as of what happened in the marriage, I still feel as though it should not be talked about publicly. I am a firm believer in keep certain things to yourself. Usher states he never wanted to talk about it open but chose to do it this one time and he hopes his kids could look back and watch this someday. I think that is absolutely crazy problems between him and
Tameka should not be portrayed like that for the kids to one day see. I am a fan of Usher but after watching this interview I am in no way supportive of his lifestyle I look at him differently. His voice will always be beautiful and hopefully him and Tameka works out
a way for this all to go away for the sake of the kids.

Chris brown new tat

So Mr. Breezy got a new tattoo and everyone is speculating that it is the face of Rihanna. Maybe after being digitally enhanced , talked about and passed around it may look like Rihanna's once bruised face. But is everything Chris Brown does going to be under a microscope. I am not the biggest Breezy fan at all! But enough is enough. He can't control his anger and he does random shit that probably the average sane person wouldn't
do;but it's him. And if he is that stupid and that rude to tattoo her bruised face then he is as stupid and ridiculous as everyone makes him out too
be.

President Obama responds to Nicki Minaj

A couple weeks ago when the public got hold of Nicki Minaj line in "Mercy," featured labelmate Lil Wayne's new mixtape, Minaj states in her line "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy bitches is f---ing up the economy."

Of course a lot of people went crazy when they heard this they could not
believe that Minaj would endorse Romney. Many of us have our political views on who should vote or side with certain political parties. But in recent news the president addressed
Nicki Minaj's statement.

"I don't think [Sasha, 11, and Malia, 14] really listen to Nicki Minaj that much," he shared. He is not sure exactly what they listen to. "But let's face it, they are now hipper than me."
As for Minaj's rapped "endorsement", "Yeah, I'm not sure that's exactly what happened. She likes to play different characters," he explained.

Nicki Minaj and her Barbz were quick to respond to the president.

Rest in Paradise: Michael Clarke Duncan

I swear, writing these posts saddens me to the core all the time but we write them as a way of paying homage to fallen celebrities we've grown to know and love (even if it is only in our heads.) The actor, Michael Clarke Duncan departed from Earth on September 3rd following the circumstances of a heart attacked he suffered earlier this year on July 13th. Michael Clarke Duncan has had numerous film and television roles playing such characters as body guards or some kind of intimidating figure. His most noted roles have been The Green Mile, The Whole Nine Yards, Armageddon, Daredevil and Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins.

On July 13, 2012, Duncan was taken to a hospital after suffering a heart attack. The media reports suggested that his girlfriend, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, had previously tried to sve his life by performing CPR. Duncan's publicist, Joy Fehily, issued a statement on August 6 that read he was moved from the Intensive Care Unit but remained hospitalized following his heart attack.
On September 3, Fehily quoted Manigault as saying that Duncan had died in Los Angeles. He added that celebrations of Duncan's life would be announced at a later date. The statement also, for the first time, described Omarosa as Duncan's fiancee.

Our deepest condolences go out to Omarosa as well as Michael Clarke Duncan's family and friends. He is a face that we will definitely miss on the big screen but we will always remember him.

(Almost) Locked Up!: Tommy "Deebo" Lister Facing 5 Years in Prison

Remember neighborhood bully, Deebo, from the Ice Cube hit "Friday"? Well it looks like Mr. Deebo may be facing up to five years in prison. Smh at these damn celebrities.

Deebo, who's real name is Tommy Lister, recently pled guilty to conspiring to committ mortgage fraud, which led t0 $3.8 million in losses for unsuspecting lenders, according to media blabber mouths, TMZ.

According to the plea agreement obtained by TMZ, Deebo admitted to a diabolical scheme in which he and several other individuals conspired to obtain four different mortages on homes in Los Angeles using false information and phony bank statements.

Lister also admittted that he and his co-conspirators collected mortgages worth $5.7 million and defaulted on all four... costing the lenders a whopping total of $2.6 MILLION!!! He also admitted to withdrawing over $1.1 million in loans using the properties as collateral which he never paid back.

Nothing is etched in stone yet but Tommy "Deebo" Lister is due back in court later this month and he will be staring down 5 years in PRISON on his date of sentencing. Shame on it all!

No words! Mitt Romney

I have refrained from blogging about a lot of political things. But, while I was eating lunch and checking my email; I was sent this screen shot. Although it is from March the fact that it was said is outrageous. I wanted to post it do you guys can see what the norm has changed and how it has become okay for radical racial remarks to be said public. Freedom of speech and press is something that we are all protected by, but where are the boundaries? I will indeed blog in detail about this later.

Let's remember Aaliyah!

Yesterday was the Princess of R&B's birthday. Aaliyah Dana Haughton born January 16, 1979 died on August 25, 2001. It was a sad, tragic day and year. Her death was only a few weeks before September 11th, the bombing at the world trade center. Aaliyah was known for tomboy ways beautiful angelic voice and light laughter. Her amazing songs such as try again , one in a million, four page letter and Rock the boat. Rock the boat was the last official single release from
Aaliyah; she was on her way coming home from the Bahamas from filming the video when she died. Aaliyah is still remembered today and her music still fills our airwaves. We salute Aaliyah and her family as her musical talents live on.

Rest in Paradise Neil Armstrong

Today, America weeps another. Today, the FIRST man on the moon, Neil Armstrong has passed away. What makes this story even more sad to tell is the fact that Armstrong just turned 82 years old on August 5th and on the 7th, he underwent  surgery to relieve blocked coronary arteries. He died today from complications of his surgery earlier this month.

A statement from his family says: "Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink."

!Trey Songz and Neyo Beef

Mr. Steal your girl and the gentleman had a rough few weeks. I call it constructive criticism, but others may call it beef. Neyo stopped by , the breakfast club and made a few comments about Trey, and his "lack of emotional depth in music." Although Ne-Yo’s comment could easily be seen as constructive criticism, Trey was very annoyed by it. Trey felt as though  Neyo should of hit him up and talk to him personally.

Treys Response:
"I'ma talk to Ne-Yo when I see him. It ain't even that. The thing is that Ne-Yo knows me," Songz explained. "Ain't no need to have that conversation for the world to hear, you know. And I feel like that's a sucker move."

Neyo's response to Treyz interview VIA twitter:
I'm a grown ass man with no problem admitting when I'm wrong or apologizing for my wrongs. W/ that said to the homie @TreySongz my bad pimp.
Congrats on the new album to @TreySongz. GO COP THAT!! Keep doin' it your way pimpin' #BosstoBossAllLove
Over all my personal opinion I do not feel as though it was beef from the beginning , Neyo was just giving his honest opinon which in no way was trying to offend Trey. Maybe he took it that way but in al honesty it is everyone on the outside looking in talking about it and making it something it is not. That is why I am done talking about. Shout out to Trey and Neyo both wonderful and talented grown men in the industry.
