Justice for All?: Zimmerman Staying at a "Safehouse"

DISCLAIMER: I, "RC" DO NOT look at the Trayvon Martin case as just another race issue in our society. To me it is a justice issue. Right is right and wrong is most definitely wrong. I DO NOT support George Zimmerman, therefore opinions in this post will definitely be biased on my part. Justice for ALL!

Our not so favorite person, George Zimmerman, made headlines once again. This time, it was annouced that his attorneys have posted bond for him for the second time and he will now be staying at a safehouse in Seminole County Florida. Zimmerman was released from jail Friday afternoon after a judge set his bond at $1 million. Zimmerman’s original bail of $150,000 was revoked and he was ordered to return to jail last month after prosecutors said he and his wife misled the court about how much money they had.

   In my opinion, allowing this man to post his own bond was absolute LUDICROUS! He is an alleged murderer who therefore poses a threat on anyone. If the judges, and other law officials paid attention to Mr. Zimmerman's past run-ins with the law, they would see he uses the legal/justice system as a sick game in which he never suffers the consequences. Hopefully, he gets the chair for the murder of Trayvon Martin. Smh.

Serena Wins Wimbledon!

MAJOR shout outs go to Serena Williams who won her FIFTH Wimbledon tournament!

Serena definitely stepped into her big girl drawers and overcame it all after undergoing two foot operations in 2010 when she cut her feet on a piece of glass in a restaurant. Earlier that same year, she suffered a two-year tennis drought after winning the 2010 Wimbledon tourney.

In 2011, she was hit with another setback after she underwent an emergency surgery for blood clots found in her lungs. This weekend, she celebrated the biggest comeback in her life after a victory over Polish player Agnieszka Radwanska.

Honestly, I don't know if I would have even tried if it had been me but that's the great thing about determination and drive. It steers you, even when you don't want it to. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS SERENA on WINNING THE 2012 WIMBLEDON TOURNAMENT!!!

Sending Prayers Up: Tameka Foster Raymond's 11 Year Old Son Pronounced Braindead

This morning, the ladies of Babbling Bee's are sad to report that the 11-year old son of Tameka Foster Raymond (Usher's estranged wife), has been declared braindead following a jet ski accident that occured yesterday on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, GA.
Kile Glover is Tameka's son from a previous marriage with Ryan Glover, one of the leaders of Bounce TV who is also  a producer and promoter. Like a true parent, Tameka has been at her son's side since she got the news and Usher himself flew in to also sit beside with the young boy as they prayed for some kind of brain activity to occur. At this time, it is not known if the family will pull Kile off life support but while we wait for more on little man's condition, we bow our heads and pray that he'll be alright.

Welcome to the World!: Penelope Scotland Disick

Once again, the ohso fab Kardashian sisters are in the headlines but this morning, it's to celebrate new life. Yesterday (July 8th, 2012), big sis Kourtney welcomed her new babygirl, Penelope Scotland Disick into her glamorous world.

Famed site, E! Online reports say:

   The baby girl was born early Sunday in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and joins big brother Mason in the ever-expanding Kardashian-Disick household.

   "Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably," Kourtney tells E! News.

The 33-year-old E! star had an all-natural birth, and her new mini-me tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

   "It was a great. She had an easy delivery," matriarch Kris Jenner tells us. "[Penelope] is so cute. She looks just like Mason. She's so beautiful. We are so happy."

Congratulations are definitely in order for Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian! Hope to see some family pics soon. Below are photos of Scott, Kourtney and their son, Mason.

Fired for saving a life.

I was going to initially take today and blog about my favorite USA TV shows. But as I started to check my twitter and email  and the ignorance I see on my time line has to be addressed. One news story I stumbled upon was life guard from Florida who was fired after saving a drowning mans life. Tomas Lopez who was in charge of one section of the beach left and when beach goer alerted him that someone was drowning. Lopez ran to the swimmers aide where he was rescued and currently in the intensive care unit. Lopez was fired because he left his post to help save someone. Supposedly company's policy states the they are suppose to adhere to the rules and not leave there
post. As I was reading some of the remarks towards what Lopez did, I got the feeling that people do not have moral obligations any more. How can you  fire someone for saving someone else life?
 Yes I agree he broke the rules but the rules being broken in this case could have possibly saved the company a law suit for not letting that man drown. Jeff Ellis Management  who hired Lopez has offered his job back but he declined. In which I think he should. I would not want to work for a company who's first hand obligation is follow the rules even though someone could possibly die, do not stop to help them. The mix comments that I have read just showed that people do not care enough to help anyone any more. In a sense it is a much heavier bystander effect, do not get in involved because it is not your responsibility.If you can lend a hand why not? The Babbling Bees do not approve of the Jeff Ellis Management decision in firing Lopez.

Reality tv / Love & hip hop

I said I was not going to watch the new season of love and hip hop because the of ignorance. But of course I watched it any way. Scrappy is trying to get his career back in order, Mimi is finding out the crazy truth about Stevie J, Joseline is pregnant by him as well, last but not least Rasheeda is still trying this rap thing. Ahh where do I start on the madness? Scrappy is a southern rapper that was very popular when I was in middle school, now I'm a senior in college. His buzz died down tremendously all over, but still stayed popular down south. His life on this show isn't too crazy other than him moving out his girlfriends house and trying to work on their relationship; very normal. Rasheeda is signed to her husbands management team and is a pre madonna unsigned artist. Family and business sometimes does not mesh well. Her husband isn't happy with her attitude and their actual home life. The industry has created a wedge. Now for the whole Stevie J , Mimi and Joseline situation I will have too blog about that later. Too much drama for one post.

July 4th

Happy independence day everyone!!!! Right now I'm blogging from my phone. We have been MIA for a while everything gets crazy in the summer time. But do not worry BC & BB are here too stay. So the 4th fell on a weird day a Wednesday ?? I was hoping for a Friday , Saturday or Sunday . But hey what can we do. It is really a day Just to enjoy and relax with the fam. Everyone is the Babbling Cartels want to send an extreme thank you to the troops past and present. Definitely salute, so what are you doing inside go out and have fun with the fam. Or work and get that time and half pay.
